Day 1 In Summary – a modest turnout but a fully charged and committed Team Sukrta Foundation​

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS:
We don’t have an answer to this, but a question – WHY NOT?

WHAT ARE WE DOING:
We have tied up with a Doctor to provide free consultancy, 2 hours a week for 4 weeks. Doctor is also dispensing basic medicines covering common ailments free of cost. Our target group is maids, drivers, construction workers and needy people living in and around Raheja Vihar, Powai. Mumbai.

WHY ONLY FOR 4 WEEKS:
This is a pilot because there are lots of logistics involved – tie-up with Doctor, clinic space, turnout, buying medicines etc. Resources (time and money) are limited, and we are also learning. Closer to the end of this month ( April 2015 ), we shall review and plan ahead. We will continue for sure.

HOW ARE WE SPREADING THE MESSAGE:
Through Facebook , word of mouth and distribution of pamphlets in Raheja Vihar.

WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM:
As of now, it is purely from the savings of the Sukrta Founders.

WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING:
Doctor’s fee, Clinic rent, Medicines and Publicity.
